One Fine Morning

Dress - Urban Outfitters
Boots- ASOS
Bag - American Apparel

I realize that this isn't exactly a typical outfit for strolling around town on a Saturday but it is technically still my birthday weekend (all rules out the window) and the fact that my stroll was around central London makes it all much more acceptable. One of the main things I love about London is the fact that you can pretty much dress however you like, anytime and any place and no one will bat an eyelid. Apart from the cut out detail this dress is a pretty standard day dress but I think it's just the fact it's clingy which makes me put it in the night time category. I normally prefer baggier clothes so the last picture (which I randomly chose to include) is probably the realistic view of me wearing this - head down and a bit fidgety!

Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes. Has been a nice weekend. Got spoilt by Danny and received some of the most thoughtful presents, bit overwhelming.

Danny has ended up having a lot on this weekend and with my friends being away I've had a lot of time to myself so headed to the National Portrait Gallery yesterday, which was great. At first, the thought of spending the weekend on my own was bit rubbish but it's actually been lovely. I don't think you can ever have enough alone time! We did go on a pub crawl with some of Danny's friends last night though, which was funny and filled with one too many shots.

I really need to get organized for my holiday today - leaving on Thursday and haven't done a thing. I'm off to buy a back pack and some bikinis now! The sun is shining so has almost put me in the mood for bikini shopping.

  1. The dress looks lovely & I totally agree with you on your comments about dressing in central London - I live in a little town in Devon, right in the South West of the country, & I always used to be amazed when I visited London. I love it. I always used to want to live there, purely because people wear what they want, when they want.

Glad to hear you've had a good birthday weekend, & enjoyed some time to yourself :)

I'm very jealous that you're off on holiday - best of luck getting organised!
