Skirt - Topshop
Top - Topshop
Boots - Asos
Necklace - Miss Selfridge
Like most people, I am having major weather hatred right now and seem to dress completely wrong, every day. I stuck this outfit on yesterday as I thought the skirt was airy enough to keep me cool but long enough to protect me from the rain! Worked a treat until I got on the tube and it got stuck in the doors – nice man came to my rescue so my bright red face quickly calmed down. As much as I love these boots, I think its time for sandals now!
I have quite an exciting weekend ahead. I’m off to Newcastle for my friends hen do. There is the dreaded fancy dress theme and I haven’t even sorted an outfit yet. This is probably due to the fact that I hate fancy dress and have no interest in walking about Newcastle looking like a tart. Oh well, I’m sure once I get there and have had a few drinks, I’ll be well into it and no doubt covering my face in glitter and stars. Saying that I am really looking forward to seeing all my friends and enjoying some laughs with them all. No doubt lots of mischief and ridiculous things will happen.
Also this week, my friend took me to see Haunting Julia, a play that is showing at the Riverside Studios in Hammersmith. If you live in London and get the chance, you should definitely check it out, it was brilliant! My friend told me it was a horror and truly terrifying. I am the biggest scaredy cat ever so sat with my fingers over my ears for most of the first half but it wasn’t off puttingly scary and I haven’t once pictured Julia lying in my bed, waiting to get me!
Lovely outfit, totally agree with you on the whole not knowing what to wear front. Have good weekend in Newcastle xo
