How quickly has this bank holiday weekend flown in? I can't believe it is time for work again tomorrow! Come Thursday I'll be preparing for another four days off...shame!
Instead of a nice relaxing weekend in the park, I've been running all over, guzzling as much alcohol as a small bodied person can handle before reaching 'that drunken state.' Although I'm pretty sure I reached that yesterday.
What did everyone think of the wedding? Or the dress? I thought both were lovely. During the run up, it didn't feel very real to me so watching the event on Friday gave me a bit of a lump in my throat. I thought the dress was perfect and of course both Kate and Pippa looked like 'babes'!! Friday was a bit of a drinking fest, as I'm sure it was for a lot of people.
On Saturday I went to a Michael Jackson themed birthday party with my boy (I didn't dress up.) He, who hates animal print, all my gaudy jewellery and absolutely loathes my Moschino belt, fashioned a Michael Jackson themed cape!! I've actually never seen anyone wear something with so much pride. I won't even go into any detail with how bad this cape was.
This is what I wore yesterday. Me and some friends headed to Brick Lane and sat in the sun playing Scabby Queen with some 'Wills and Kate' playing cards while consuming far too much cider, then wine and vodka for a Sunday afternoon. We caught the tube up to Camden, in the evening, for the last of the Camden Crawl. A certain someone came and accompanied me home as the lack of food and flowing alcohol was all getting a bit much. Such a nice weekend and a lot of laughs were had.
Anyway, less of the booze and back to why I am here. I bought this dress on ebay, a month or so ago, when I was having my crochet phase. Yesterday was the first time I have worn it but I'm sure I'll have it on much more regularly, now that the weather is warming up. Sorry again, for the hazy photos. I didn't have time to fix my camera as I was running late to meet my friends but will investigate before I take any more pictures.
Thank you to everyone for the cute comments on my last post. I really do appreciate them all and I'll reply to you all tonight or tomorrow morning. I need to go and get ready to go out for diner now. I really do wish I was one of those lucky girls who take ten minutes to get ready and still looks stunning!! How do you do it?
