First of all, I must apologise for the hazy quality to these photos. I may have pressed a wrong button or smudged my fingers all over the lens. Either way, there is only so long you can take photos of yourself before thinking - what I’ve got will have to do.
The sun may have disappeared but my legs certainly haven’t. It felt like I was the only one wearing shorts yesterday, amongst a sea of jackets and even scarves!! Once I’ve been hit by the sun bug I just can’t go back to dressing for the wind and grey skies.
This has to be one of my favourite summer outfits, I wore it a lot last year and seeing as I am rediscovering my wardrobe it was perfect to get it back out again. My colleague says this is my tennis outfit, all I need is a racket and perhaps stronger arms and I’d look like a pro (a navy one, obviously!) I love this little cable knit cardigan, it’s perfect for covering up when it gets a bit chilly, I’m certain it only cost me around £10 from one of the good old Covent Garden vintage stores. As soon as the shopping ban is over I plan to trawl through the thrift stores and hopefully pick up some bargains. 16 days to go guys!!
Does anyone have anything exciting planned for the royal wedding? I feel like I should be go into central London and watch the historical moment but my friends are planning a big drinking session with some crazy royal wedding drinking game. The pub in my local park is showing it on a big screen which will face out across the park so we initially hoped to sit there all day basking in the sun...but now it’s forecast rain. Not sure what the alternative plan is yet but as long as I can spy the dress and can eat some scones and jam I’ll be happy. Plus, another four day weekend is always going to be exciting. I presumed the 29th of April would always be a bank holiday now but apparently not?!
Super cute outfit and that cardi is the perfect cover up I think you should still get your legs out as long as you are warm your royal wedding plans sound perfect I am working xoxo
