London Town.

Dress - Vintage Slip
Denim Waistcoat - Topshop
Sandals - Topshop
Necklace - Fashionology

I have been neglecting this blog, for what seems like far too long, for my liking. I've been having so much fun over the bank holiday weekend so it's all relative, I guess. I plan to spend this evening replying and catching up on all my faves though - looking forward to it like a true saddo too, haha!!

I have spent most of my weekend in a few of London's amazing parks and hanging out in the sun. I did manage to sneak in a few quick snaps of one outfit though, which is above. I bought the vintage slip from a  store on Brick lane for only £7 and love to wear it as a dress. Great for the lovely weather too as it's so light and floaty. I must apologise for the horrible pic's - I hate dressing up and wearing makeup when it's so hot.

Yesterday me and Danny headed to my local park - London Fields, which is the mentioned heavily in the 'being a dickhead's cool' video. We embraced in true 'hipster' style and decided to take some snaps with hipstamatic app;

I love them and the gorgeous summery feeling they give. I have truly had, what feels like, a holiday this past few days. I love the hustle and bustle of London but never realized how relaxing and peaceful all the parks are. Although they were heaving with sun worshippers you really do feel like you have your own little part of London, if only for a moment.

Saturday was my favourite day ever. I dragged the lazy boy our of bed and along to Portobello Market early and I think I may have found my favourite place. All the antiques and jewellery the stalls provided had me gasping and wishing for a little piece of it all - but what with the spending ban, I settled for pear cider instead of rings!! I plan to go back to the market regularly now and laze on the busy streets listening to steel drums and adorning myself in gaudy treats. We spent the afternoon in Hamstead Heath then headed home for a nap through the rain storms before going back out for a gorgeous Japanese meal. It really was one of those perfect days that I won't forget in a hurry.

Today I have a massive treat in store...I'm cleaning my flat from top to toe!!! But I have Camera Obscura on my ipod and a mini egg Easter egg, along with a massive blog catch up, waiting for me when I'm done.

Hope you all had an amazing weekend too. Here's to more of the same next week, if only four day weekends were standard
