This is possibly the most beautiful lip product I own; not to mention the most extravagantly packaged.

I am a massive fan of a red lip, but struggle to find a shade that doesn’t look too bright. I recently went on the hunt for a deep red that didn’t scream of that 90’s brown shade my mum used to wear. I found it!

Not only is this Guerlain colour perfect for me but the application and end result are a dream. It applies like a thick (non sticky) lip gloss that dries matt within seconds and leaves a creamy/velvety look throughout the day. The colour is also very pigmented so I find that one application in the morning normally sees me through.

The Rouge G L'Extrait comes in seven red shades from darks through to a pink tone. They also have some brighter versions for those of you who are lucky enough to be able to pull them off.

Don’t be put off by this fancy packaging though – the product speaks for itself.
