Jacket - Zara
Tops and Boots - Topshop
Skirt - Vintage
I’ve had this skirt for almost two years and although I recycle my clothes constantly it’s one thing I’ll always keep. I think I last showed it on my blog almost a year ago and I have to admit it’s not something I wear a lot! I’m hoping to change that this summer however as I quite like the whole mixing pastels trend so am now on the hunt for a good mint vest. I also spotted some mint coloured vans that I have my eye on. Not sure I could pull off a midi skirt and trainers but I’ll give it a try and if it works out ok, I’ll be sure to share some pictures.
I’m currently getting hyped up for the (fingers crossed) warm week we have coming up but haven’t ditched my boots just yet.
I had a great weekend. As I mentioned, I went to an antenatal class with my friend on Saturday and can confirm that I am totally ready for motherhood!! I even got a bit too into it and took one of the class dolls to practise with along with all the expectant mums, my friend actually had to point out to me that I didn’t have to get that involved!! Woooops!!
The rest of my weekend was spent eating far too much chocolate, watching trash TV and enjoying the sunshine. Me and Danny then went out for dinner last night which was good!
Hope everyone else had lovely weekends.
Oi Mo jo give me that skirt ha... I heart this skirt so much gorgeous I think it would love to be in my wardrobe right now. Thanks for your as usual amazing comments love a Mo boost on a Monday morning. My kimono is from f21 not new though I got it last year.
ReplyDeleteLooking gorgeous hun and yes this skirt needs more Mo time it is amaze balls. Have a lovely day chicken.
Was thinking it would be fun to meet up one day for a wee drink?? since we live near by. Or not if you think I am a weirdo to ask ha xx
Haha ehm....NO!! Although I do think the skirt would look fab on you!

looove this skirt, it would work so well with a mint vest! the vans sound cool too, i've never seen a mint pair but i can imagine they would be gorgeous and perfect for this outburst of summery weather, it's so lovely at the moment... I don't want to jinx it though!

Oh me too! Think we need to make the most of the sunshine at the moment!
DeleteThanks I think I need to get those vans.
The skirt is so lovely, I'm very jealous you found a vintage one - I searched high and low for a pleated midi in charity shops last year but eventually had to splash out on a Topshop one which is nowhere near as nice as this! You'll have to show us pics of the new flat when it's all finished!
ReplyDeleteI know a good midi is quite hard to come back, think that is why I'll always hold onto this one. x
DeleteYou look so chic! I adore your skirt!

I love how you toughened up the pink skirt with your jacket and boots... pink and black will always look classically chic. Lovely outfit! xx

Haha sounds like you had a great time at the antinatal classes! This skirt is so cute, I love maxi and midi skirts but find I wear them once then they become too inpractical and too much of a hassle to wear during the day? I'm too lazy for fashion hahaha~ ox
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the maxis! I end up walking around with it hiked up - not a good look. I find midis quite practical though. x
DeleteThat skirt's absolutely gorgeous. You should definitely wear it more often! You've styled it so well too, I love the contrast of the leather aginst the girly pink!

When I was pregnant I used to take my hubby with me even he was very supporting I could sea the fear in his face! like WTF sort of face! Anyway I think you can easyly pull of the vans skirt combo! The skirt is lovely btw! x
ReplyDeleteI mean supportive* :s haha
DeleteAwww, I ddin't know you were a mum!! How amazing! I can not believe you have such a fit body, I'll get tips from you wen I need them!! There was the funniest guy at antenatal he looked so scared and his wife had to tell him to stop it! HA!

I have this skirt! But I didn't like the length, cause I'm quite small it just made me look stumpy :( so took it up just sitting on the knee...slightly better but still never know what to wear with it! This looks great though! I am also Scottish and living in London! Do you want to follow each other?
