never fall never knew

Jacket - Zara
Tops and Boots - Topshop
Skirt - Vintage

I’ve had this skirt for almost two years and although I recycle my clothes constantly it’s one thing I’ll always keep. I think I last showed it on my blog almost a year ago and I have to admit it’s not something I wear a lot! I’m hoping to change that this summer however as I quite like the whole mixing pastels trend so am now on the hunt for a good mint vest. I also spotted some mint coloured vans that I have my eye on. Not sure I could pull off a midi skirt and trainers but I’ll give it a try and if it works out ok, I’ll be sure to share some pictures.

I’m currently getting hyped up for the (fingers crossed) warm week we have coming up but haven’t ditched my boots just yet.

I had a great weekend. As I mentioned, I went to an antenatal class with my friend on Saturday and can confirm that I am totally ready for motherhood!! I even got a bit too into it and took one of the class dolls to practise with along with all the expectant mums, my friend actually had to point out to me that I didn’t have to get that involved!! Woooops!!

The rest of my weekend was spent eating far too much chocolate, watching trash TV and enjoying the sunshine. Me and Danny then went out for dinner last night which was good!

Hope everyone else had lovely weekends.

  11. looove this skirt, it would work so well with a mint vest! the vans sound cool too, i've never seen a mint pair but i can imagine they would be gorgeous and perfect for this outburst of summery weather, it's so lovely at the moment... I don't want to jinx it though!

  12. The skirt is so lovely, I'm very jealous you found a vintage one - I searched high and low for a pleated midi in charity shops last year but eventually had to splash out on a Topshop one which is nowhere near as nice as this! You'll have to show us pics of the new flat when it's all finished!

  15. Haha sounds like you had a great time at the antinatal classes! This skirt is so cute, I love maxi and midi skirts but find I wear them once then they become too inpractical and too much of a hassle to wear during the day? I'm too lazy for fashion hahaha~ ox

    1. I know what you mean about the maxis! I end up walking around with it hiked up - not a good look. I find midis quite practical though. x

  16. That skirt's absolutely gorgeous. You should definitely wear it more often! You've styled it so well too, I love the contrast of the leather aginst the girly pink!

  30. I have this skirt! But I didn't like the length, cause I'm quite small it just made me look stumpy :( so took it up just sitting on the knee...slightly better but still never know what to wear with it! This looks great though! I am also Scottish and living in London! Do you want to follow each other?
