Shirt and Jumper – H&M Trend
Jacket – Topshop
I’m such a blogger with my embellished collar buttoned up!
Although I have loved the collar trend for a while, I never embraced it myself as collars are just not something I feel comfortable in! Does anyone else think that a collar done up gives them a ‘box body’ or do you feel suffocated and stiff all day? Maybe it is just me because I keep lusting after the style and everyone else seems to pull it off really well.
I bought this blouse from the H&M trend section a while ago and up until last week it was still hanging in my wardrobe with the tag on. When I tried it on again I realised that it is actually quite comfortable and the pretty embellishments were too nice to ignore. It’s a gorgeous sheer material with short sleeves too so will be perfect for the warmer weather. Although I bought it a while ago I saw it last week in store, if anyone is interested.
The jumper is also from the H&M trend collection, which I love! I just found out that its called H&M trend, I used to just describe it as the more expensive bit upstairs for classier ladies!!
Paired it with my Topshop jacket for extra layering benefits!
ahhh where did you buy H&M trend stuff?? In the Ox Circus one? I am loving this blouse :) But yes on some of my blouses doing the button up to the top suffocates me (I can't wear roll necks for that reason either) xx
ReplyDeleteThey have the best H&M trend in Covent Garden, the whole of the top floor is dedicated to it! Or Selfridges has a consession which is only for the trend items! The one on Oxford Street going towards Tottenham Court Road (next to Aldo I think) has an Ok section on the ground floor at the back left hand corner!
ReplyDeleteOh god! I sound like a total H&M freak!! Hope that helps though! x
I loooove the h&M trend collection, everything is so lovely, as is this blouse - the collar is so sweet!

I love the blouse, I'm also obsessed with the collar trend. I feel like if it's really hot and my collar is done up all the way it annoys me and I usually unbutton it but when it's cold or I have necklace on it doesn't seem to bother me too much.
ReplyDeleteYou always find the nicest things, I wish we had H&M in Aus xx
I love it that collar ! look amazing

Marina ,
Was thinking about buying this, I love the collar. Heard it's quite short though, how did you find it?
ReplyDeleteLooks so nice with that jumper, lovely blog :)

Yeah it is a little shorter than I would have liked but it looks good with high waisted skirts or a jumper over it, just not with jeans really!
DeleteI'm about 5'3 and it sits just at my waist. Hope that helps!? x
Love the collar! Gosh I would love top get into H&M right now!
ReplyDeleteLook is verry nice!I love your blous!
ReplyDeleteI love this collar, it's really nicely embellished but not over the top! :)

DeleteAhhh been looking for a shirt with a jazzy collar like this! Will have to check out h&m next week if I have time. Your jumper/jacket combo works a treat with it too. Also your previous out is beautiful, really like that skirt! Glad the move went well and you've found a great new space! :) xxx
ReplyDeleteYeah, give H&M a try, think this and a more expensive one in Zara are the best I've seen. Thanks! xx
Deletethe collar looks great! I am a tad addicted to them right now xx

Your collar is so pretty! I'm the same though...feel totally suffocated in them! xxx
ReplyDeleteHow pretty, i love to see this sweet collars on others, but i just don't think they suit me :)
ReplyDeleteWell you know me! I love collars but depending on the shirt style I guess, I know what you mean with the box shape. ha,ha, so funny I call it the same every H&M has the classier ladies more expensive section (I call it the same!) but my favourite for this section is the one in High street Kengsington I think that is my favourite H&M in the whole world haha no actualli the one in Covent garden and the one in Regents street is amazing! and huge! I hate the one in Oxford circus though
ReplyDeleteOh thanks for the H&M tip off, I reallt want to go shopping around kensington so will pop down there soon. Me too, the one on Oxford Circus is a nightmare!
DeleteGorgeous!
