Now I'm Sleeping Until The Evening

"OH MY GOD... You look so white!!", "Hoi!! Mermaid!!", "Only you could get away with that hideous skirt!" Always love the reactions you get to outfits!

So this is the little ensemble I chose for last night. Thanks for all your opinions on my last post. Although I did love the second skirt, I kind of knew I would end up in this one. There is just something about a maxi! Sadly the other has been returned to Topshop, maybe it will go into the Jan sales and therefore back around my waist!

I would normally have paired it with a black top but wanted to try something a bit different. I think the looser style of vest also helps to casual the look up a bit and the black boots and bag seemed to have broken it up nicely. I wasn't convinced at first and even felt the need to venture into a living room of 4 guys to ask their opinion (all female flat-mates were out)! After reassuring them I was not simply going for dinner at McDonalds they said it looked fine, even nice and quite different!!

I had such a fun day yesterday. Borough Market was all christmasy and we drunk hot cider before making the difficult choice of what to eat. The night was really good, and I actually managed to stay in a club which had blaring dance music for a record of 4 hours! Do not ask me how I managed as this is usually my idea of hell! I eventually gave up and headed home to bed. As I was leaving my friend told me that if I wanted to stay out all night I'd need to start eating more cake, like her!! So on her good advise, I'm about to tuck into my second slice of chocolate cake!

I woke up to the loveliest little surprise this morning. The very talented Laura from Romance is Boring has drawn this amazing picture of me!

I'm so touched and I absolutely love the picture.  I'll no doubt print it off, get it framed and kindly give it to my dad as his main christmas present!! It's such a nice little reminder of my trip to Paris too so a massive thank you to Laura. Also, if you haven't checked out her blog yet, you should! She has great style, great taste in music and has a really versatile and creative blog, which I love to read.
