Hibernation

All I wanted to do this morning was wrap up in my #totesnavaj cape and spend the rest of the day drinking coffee and reading trashy mags. I decided against this and have struggled into work.

I’m a nightmare during autumn and winter, turn into a typical hedgehog who likes nothing more than sleeping. My typical winter wardrobe is black dress and oversized faux fur but I’m hopeful that this year will see a massive change in me. For the first time ever I have been lusting after winter coats, cosy jumpers, big boots with socks, thick tights and hats.

I’ll also be setting myself the challenge of having a social life this winter and am planning to book up as many gigs as possible. On Wednesday I went to Brixton to see Pulp – absolutely amazing. This was my third time seeing them this year and undoubtedly the best. Jarvis was as sleazy as ever and if he wants to give me children and maybe be his girlfriend I’ll be more than happy to oblige.

  1. That cape is brilliant! I'm at work tomorrow and Sunday and I'm the same - I just want to sleep and wrap up with tea!

Pulp look pretty awesome live, Jarvis seems like a cheeky chappy! The last gig I went to was Muse last year... it's been a long time!

  2. I love this cape! I'm actually quite excited about autumn/winter clothes, I love jumpers and woolly socks! Also just read your post about Sziget, it looks amazing. I'm so so jealous you saw The National, they are one of my absolute favourite bands and it is my mission to see them but they never seem to tour the UK!

  4. Love the cape, perfect for wrapping up in on a cold day! I'm after more winter knits and things too, although I have precious few pennies to purchase them with! So jealous you've seen Pulp three times already! I'm going to see Pete and the Pirates soon, accompanying the boyfriend who is very into gigs! xx
